Perfect Ruler16
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-9| J: Cieren Fallon| T: W J Haggas| OR:  60
Showed more than on debut when fourth of 9 in a Doncaster maiden in November. Below market expectations on return when last of 5 in novice at Thirsk (7f) 16 days ago, but she remains with potential for her leading yard as she heads into handicaps.

Hey Havana192
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-8| J: S H James| T: G A Harker| OR:  59
Modest form when making the frame on final 3 starts last year, though was unlucky not to finish closer (denied a clear run) when third of 8 in 6f nursery at Newcastle in November. Off 6 months ahead of first run since leaving Nigel Tinkler.

Full Gasp23

Has made more impact than previously in handicaps on his last 2 starts, in first-time cheekpieces when staying on for second in 11-runner contest at Haydock (6f) 23 days ago. Can make his presence felt back up in trip.

Maximum Velocity23
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-6| J: Alex Jary(3)| T: N Tinkler| OR:  57
Left previous form behind on handicap/seasonal debut when third at Newcastle in March and, having had excuses next time, was a good second in 17-runner event at Leicester last month. However, bounce back now called for after a poor run at Doncaster 23 days ago.

Forever Twentyt16
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-5| J: Jason Hart| T: I Furtado| OR:  56
Fitted with tongue strap for turf debut, ran best race so far back up to 7f when third of 9 in handicap at Doncaster 16 days ago, shaping well from off the pace in a steadily-run affair. Enters calculations with latest effort behind her.

Age: 3|  Weight: 9-3| J: D Allan| T: T D Easterby| OR:  54
Didn't offer much in her 3 qualifying runs last season and, in first-time blinkers (now discarded), failed to improve for the switch to a nursery when eighth of 13 at Newcastle (7f) in September. Has something to find after 7 months off.

Harswell Riverp11
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: O McSweeney| T: Roger Fell| OR:  51| C
Kept busy as a juvenile, opening account in nursery over 1m here in September. Has placed at this course on 2 of her last 3 starts, bumping into an improver when second of 11 earlier this month. Can give her running once more.

Queenies Pal202
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: Jamie Gormley| T: N Wilson| OR:  51
Made little impact in varied events last season, faring no better tried in cheekpieces when third of 5 in nursery at Catterick (6f) on final outing in October.

Twilight Serenade23
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: Warren Fentiman(3)| T: R A Fahey| OR:  49
Made the frame twice from 3 starts in nurseries last year, but didn't look straightforward on occasions. After 5 months off (had been gelded), couldn't sustain setting a good pace when ninth of 12 in handicap at Doncaster (7f) 23 days ago.

Go Teejayp16
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-9| J: D Fentiman| T: Craig Lidster| OR:  45
Down the field first 3 starts, but with cheekpieces applied for handicap debut he fared better upped to 7f when sixth of 9 at Doncaster 16 days ago. However, he had the run of race last time, so task is now to build on that from out of the weights here.

Forecasts

Perfect Ruler (9/4), Harswell River (9/2), Full Gas (5/1), Forever Twenty (7/1), Hey Havana (8/1), Maximum Velocity (10/1), Queenies Pal (14/1), Twilight Serenade (16/1), Only Dream Big (16/1), Go Teejay (25/1)

Verdict

PERFECT RULER couldn't justify support at Thirsk on return having raced keenly, but she's bred to be suited by this trip so is well worth another chance as she makes her handicap debut. She can take a step forward to get the better of a pair who arrive on the back of good efforts, with Full Gas preferred for second over Forever Twenty.
