Without a win since Wolverhampton (8.5f) in January last year but proved consistent during the current winter campaign. With the benefit of a recent outing behind him, ran well back on turf when second at Doncaster (7f) 16 days ago. Likely contender.
Making first run since leaving Joseph O'Brien after 15-month absence, shaped encouragingly when third in a Southwell novice (7f) in December. However, he failed to build on that in 2 starts in January, down the field on handicap debut at the same course (1m) when last seen.
Won 3 times for current yard last year and stepped forward from first 2 outings this season when only narrowly denied at Doncaster 23 days ago, conceding first run. Remains 1 lb below last winning mark so he can remain competitive.
Proved consistent for current yard last season, opening account over 7f here in June. Made the frame all 3 remaining starts of the campaign, before probably needing the run after 7 months off when sixth of 9 at Pontefract 19 days ago. Cheekpieces applied.
Last win came back in November 2024 but from his reduced mark he returned to form when third at Wolverhampton in March. Excuses next time and has gone close the last twice, despite meeting trouble when third at Leicester 9 days ago. Major player with cheekpieces added.
Winner over 7f at Thirsk last summer and ended the year in good heart on all-weather. Ran up to his best on return when second at Newcastle in March and gave his running from a wide draw when fifth of 13 at Thirsk (1m) last month.
Winner at Ripon (1m) in July last year and doubled his tally over the same C&D the following month. Reappeared with an encouraging fourth in 9-runner contest at Thirsk 16 days ago, rallying despite having raced freely. Is back down to last winning mark.
Capitalised on a falling mark when opening account with a determined success in 15-runner handicap at Nottingham in April. Raced too freely next time, but was soon back on track when runner-up at Leicester 9 days ago, headed on the post.
Sole career success came on his final start as a 2-y-o. Struggled for consistency for current yard in 2025 and offered little on return when well held at Thirsk last month. Continues to fall in the weights but others more persuasive.
Winner on fourth start for this yard at Beverley in September and has worked her way back to form this season, bumping into an improver when second of 9 at Thirsk 16 days ago. Can give another good account.
Maiden winner at Lingfield last summer but hasn't gone on from that in handicaps, leaving Simon & Ed Crisford after final 2025 outing and failing to beat a rival on his latest 2 starts.
Free-going type when showed improved form when making all at Doncaster (1m) last summer and ran to a similar level when fourth of 11 here (7f) in September. Excuses next time and possibly needed the run back at this course in April. More needed back up in trip.
