Useful performer in France for Henri-Francois Devin. Picked up by new connections for 45,000 gns last autumn and brushed aside as though in need of the run on handicap/British debut last month ago (1¼m). Up in trip and should last longer this time.
Son of Cracksman who landed the odds in 11f course maiden last summer and advanced his form in handicaps after, sticking to his task really well in first-time cheekpieces when doubling his tally at Haydock in September by ¾ length from Ride The Thunder (1¾m). Will improve again as a 4-y-o.
Three 1½m wins last year and started 4-y-o campaign in the perfect fashion, recording big career best when winning 6-runner handicap at Doncaster (1½m, good to firm) 22 days ago. Up 5 lb in a better race but enters calculations.
Made light of long absence when scoring at Wolverhampton in February. Nothing wrong with efforts on next 2 starts but last couple of runs, latterly back on turf at Newmarket, have been pretty uninspiring.
Night of Thunder colt who opened his account in a Nottingham maiden in June. Progressive form in handicaps after, very good ¾-length second of 10 to Valiancy at Haydock in September. Gelded ahead of reappearance and he's in expert hands. Hood on first time.
Capitalised on drop in grade at Wolverhampton in November and, having met trouble in running next time, returned from 3 months off with a decisive success at Southwell in March. Rare poor effort at Newmarket 2 weeks ago and likely to bounce back given profile.
Signed off for David Simcock with back-to-back staying handicap wins in summer 2024. Seen only thrice since and latest third of 5 in a lesser C&D handicap than this 2 weeks ago suggests his mark is a shade too high.
Runner-up in a pair of C&D handicaps around this time last year and cashed in on a lenient mark at Newcastle soon after. Cracking second at York (2m) when last seen in July and while he's been off since, his record fresh is a positive one.
Fairly useful hurdles winner who was a different proposition to previous Flat outings when landing 12-runner handicap at Bellewstown last month. Shaped quite well back over obstacles last time and he represents a shrewd yard.
Chester winner over 2¼m a year ago and back from a quiet spell when adding to tally at Catterick in October. No impact trying to win former race again last week and looks vulnerable to less-exposed rivals.
Hamilton regular, winning twice over shorter trips last summer. Ended 2025 with a couple of tame efforts and he likes slightly out of pay grade on reappearance.
Kept busy last year, winning 4 times from 19 runs. Low-key reappearance but much more like it when third of 8 over 2m at Musselburgh 3 weeks ago. Still above last winning mark and is eligible for weaker races than this.

Forecasts
Valiancy (5/4), Ride The Thunder (5/2), Putapoundinthejar (9/1), Ghaiyya (10/1), Savrola (12/1), Nolton Cross (16/1), Trojan Sun (20/1), Artisan Dancer (28/1), Mountain Road (33/1), Gibside (40/1), Military Air (40/1), Spanish Hustle (80/1)
The 3-y-o handicap at Haydock in September looks the key piece of form here, with RIDE THE THUNDER taken to reverse the placings with Valiancy on 3 lb better terms. This slight step up in trip will suit Ghaiyya and she's also a player in a race that may well be dominated by the 4-y-os.
