Second hurdle success when landing short odds in 2m Ayr novice (heavy) in February. Has the demeanour for chasing and expected to go well for a stable increasingly dominant at this venue.

Dual winner over hurdles who was successful at Uttoxeter on return in October. Hasn't gone on as expected since but probably needed the run after 4 months off at Stratford recently. Handicapper drops him 3 lb.

Always holding when doubling his hurdle tally at Warwick in March but possibly unsuited by softer conditions at Ayr the following month. Ran well a few times over fences for Henry de Bromhead and can get back on track here.

Has struggled since his Taunton win and made a dismal debut for another new yard (formerly with Joe Tickle) following a breathing operation/tongue strap back on at Chepstow recently.

Returned to form with a bang sporting this headgear combination for the first time over C&D last summer. Followed that with a near-miss but has been below par the last twice, including on return at Kelso recently. Drops back in trip with a bit to prove.

Back on his last successful mark when landing a third course win at Ayr in 5-runner handicap in March. Tailed off on both subsequent starts (latest over hurdles) so has something to prove.

Proved a different model sent chasing for current yard after a breathing operation when making all at Catterick in February. Made it 2 from 3 over fences at Southwell in March but proved disappointing back hurdling here recently. 5 lb out of weights but much better anticipated.

The Olly Murphy yard is becoming increasingly dominant at this venue and that trend looks set to continue with NEXT TWIST, who doubled his hurdles tally at Ayr in February and has the demeanour for chasing. Shadowfax of Rohan is clearly a much better chaser than hurdler, so he looks the biggest danger back in this discipline despite being out of the weights, with Mister Cessna seemingly best of the rest.
