Useful performer in France, winning minor events at Longchamp and Chantilly in 2025 but was always towards the rear in 21-runner event on yard debut at the Curragh last month.
Posted several good efforts in defeat last season and might have needed the run when 27 lengths eighteenth of 21 to Key Witness in handicap (5/1) at the Curragh (1m, heavy) on comeback 30 days ago. Cheekpieces back on.
Usual hold-up style means he's often been a hostage to fortune but was ridden more forward and capitalised on a reduced mark to score in a 16-runner handicap at this course (10.5f, good to soft, 10/1) 9 days ago.
Won 18-runner event at Galway last summer before finishing a close second in Irish Cambridgeshire at the Curragh. Went without usual headgear (left off again) and might have needed the run when 21½ lengths fifteenth of 21 to Key Witness in handicap (20/1) at the Curragh (1m, heavy) 30 days ago.
Progressive sort who won 20-runner handicap at the Curragh (7f) in November and picked up where he left off when having several in these in behind in a 21-runner race over 1m there (heavy) last month. Seen to good effect under enterprising ride that time but shortlisted again from 6 lb higher mark.
Off the mark in a 6f handicap at the Curragh on final start of last season and took another step forward when following up at that same C&D on his return. Not ideally placed after a slow break over 5f there last time and isn't fully ruled out going back up in trip (has form at this distance).
Progressive as a 3-y-o, off the mark at third attempt at Galway prior to a good third up in grade at Killarney. Good efforts in handicaps both starts this season, most recently when fourth of 16 at Limerick (1m, good to soft) 8 days ago. Likely to give another good account.
Posted career best when doubling career tally in 8-runner handicap at Leopardstown (1m) in October. Below-par at the Curragh after and finished a tailed-off last of 13 on the snow at St Moritz last time. Others preferred.
Capitalised on a falling mark to win over 6f in September before making the frame at the Curragh on her final 2 starts of the year. Returns for new yard (formerly trained by Kieran Patrick Cotter) after 6 months off.
Ended 2025 better than ever, winning twice at Dundalk. Good second at Naas in March and again emerged with credit from a poor position when fourth at Leopardstown last month. Not at his best without steady gallop against him when behind Final Voyage here (10.5f) last week. Cheekpieces back on.
Didn't progress last year for Jessica Harrington and no better than mid-field in 2 starts for these connections 4 months apart.
Placed 3 times at Dundalk early this year but showed again why he's a risky betting proposition when blowing the start at Newcastle last time. Others preferred in a higher grade than he usually contests.

Forecasts
Collecting Coin (9/4), Key Witness (9/2), Aviatrice (9/2), Dmaniac (11/2), Gleneagle Bay (13/2), Final Voyage (8/1), Genuine Article (14/1), Dark Viper (14/1), Quatre Bras (14/1), Nancy J (14/1), Brewing (16/1), Gerrit's Gem (16/1), Va Va Vroom (40/1), Dos Mukasan (50/1)
KEY WITNESS had several of these in behind at the Curragh last month and he's upwardly mobile enough to think he can complete the hat-trick from 7 lb higher. Aviatrice was an improver towards the back end of last season and is respected on her return, whilst Final Voyage would also hold strong claims if proving as effective over this shorter trip.
- Key Witness9/2
- Final Voyage8/1
