Won 6f novices at Kempton and Southwell last autumn. Back on the up with Southwell second in March but ran poorly in first-time cheekpieces at Newcastle last time.
Debut Ayr winner last June and not discredited in better company subsequently, seventh of 8 in listed race at Doncaster (7f) in September. Handicap debutant.
A fairly useful 5f winner for Richard Hughes at 2yrs. Changed hands for 160,000 guineas and not disgraced on return when seventh of 14 in 7f Newbury handicap 15 days ago, not clear run under 2f out. In the mix with that run under his belt.
Churchill colt who comfortably landed the odds in 7f Kempton maiden in October. Possibly found the run coming too quickly when last of 11 in 6f Ascot conditions event subsequently and remains with potential on his return.
Progressed at 2 yrs (close second in 7f Newmarket novice in November) but faced a stiff task when tenth in the Nell Gwyn there 17 days ago. No surprise to see her bounce back on handicap debut.
A fair 7f winner at Newmarket in October. Only tenth of 12 on his handicap debut there (1m) on his recent return and blinkers are reached for.
Off 6 months/gelded before getting off the mark in 11-runner maiden at Catterick (7f) 24 days ago. Needs considering back in handicap company for his in-form stable.
Gained a deserved breakthrough success in 7f maiden at Epsom last July for Eve Johnson Houghton. Last of 6 in conditions stakes at Kempton (1m) on her reappearance/yard debut though. Handicap debutante.
Ended 2025 on the up and has continued in the same vein this season, overcoming a steady pace to land 13-runner handicap at Newmarket (7f) 18 days ago. Big shout nudged up 2 lb.
Wolverhampton 7f maiden juvenile winner. Resumed from 6 months off with an excellent second of 7 in handicap there (7f) 22 days ago, conceding first run to the winner. Big player.

Forecasts
Startled (5/2), Jeddaal (11/2), Siren Suit (6/1), Deluded (6/1), Shaman Champion (15/2), Do Bronxs (8/1), Harlequin Breeze (12/1), Monarch's Gold (14/1), Mystic Moment (16/1), Major Neigh Sayer (20/1)
STARTLED did well to overcome a pace bias when going in at Newmarket last time so gets the vote. Deluded rates a big danger on the back of an excellent reappearance second at Wolverhampton, while Jeddaal, Shaman Champion and Siren Suit all need factoring into this competitive handicap, too.
