The ground was soft when opening her account in 6f handicap here in September but she seems to be fairly versatile where conditions are concerned. Probably needed the run when fourth of 6 back here on recent reappearance and this filly is one to consider.

Verdict

Though below her best of late, SHALLOW is nevertheless worth chancing in this trappy-looking contest. The 5-y-o has conditions to suit now returned to turf and this reduced mark, the booking of Silvestre De Sousa and the addition of cheekpieces are also positive factors. Lady Mariko looked better than ever when scoring at Kempton this month and she is feared most ahead of Lady Manzor and Miss Nightfall.
