On a long losing run and yet to get his head in front on the all-weather but has gone close in handicaps at Chelmsford and Lingfield on 2 of his last 3 starts. Remains on a workable mark and likely to be on the premises.
Bagged a C&D seller on final run of last season and reappearance sixth at Lingfield (1m) wasn't a bad effort by any means. However, some of the others are more appealing for win purposes.
Mixed form since yard change last summer, again failing to fire when tried in cheekpieces (discarded here) at Southwell when last seen in October. Has undergone a breathing operation in the interim.
Made it 2 wins on the all-weather when successful in a fairly useful Chelmsford seller for Karl Burke in late-February (subsequently sold for £12,000). Struggled back in handicap company next time, though, and others make more appeal. Cheekpieces refitted.
Exploited a reduced mark to land first handicap at Lingfield (1¼m) in November, grabbing the initiative with an opportunistic move before the straight. Went close over C&D on return late last month and another bold show is on the cards.
Successful over 7f here in January and latest sixth of 13 at Southwell (1m) represented a step back in the right direction. Each-way chance if able to build on that now upped in trip.
Unlucky not to win here in February and made amends with narrow success at Chelmsford the following month. Placed both starts since, including back at this course last time, but others look stronger on this occasion.
Progressed again last year and placed on 2 of his 3 starts since returning to action last month, most recently chasing home an improver at Nottingham (1¼m, good to soft). Strongly respected.
Healthy strike rate (6-28) and made an encouraging start to the season when fifth in an 11-runner Lingfield (1m) handicap. Entitled to come on for that run and each-way claims back up in trip here with Daniel Tudhope booked.

Forecasts
Lordsbridge Blu (5/2), Epictetus (18/5), Big Sip (5/1), Jez Bomb (11/2), Newfangled (13/2), Echalar (12/1), Primo Lara (12/1), City Of God (33/1), Renesmee (40/1)
Preference is for LORDSBRIDGE BLU, who resumed with a good second over this C&D, despite conceding first run, and he remains on a feasible mark. Jez Bomb looks a big threat on the back of his solid Nottingham effort, while Epictetus and Newfangled also have claims.
