Three-time C&D winner who both ended term and commenced this season by chasing home Evocative Spark in handicaps here. 4 lb better off with that rival for a 1½-length defeat a fortnight ago and it should be close between them.
Just a maiden win to his name and while he has performed with credit in 3 runs on the all-weather since returning from a break last month, his record on turf stands at 0-8.
Now 3 lb lower compared to when scoring at Musselburgh last spring but she ended 2025 campaign out of form and is probably best watched this time.
Followed his 2-length beating of Vince Le Prince over C&D in October with a string of below par displays on the all-weather. However, he returned to form when proving 1½ lengths too strong for the same rival back here recently and a 4 lb rise is fair enough.
Tumbled down the weights and ended long losing run when landing 6-runner Wolverhampton handicap last month. Excuses since but the primary concern here is the return to turf, given that he's struggled in 6 runs on grass subsequent to winning a Brighton novice as a 2-y-o.
Remains a maiden but has been knocking on the door of late, placed 3 times on the bounce on the all-weather prior to a a respectable display in a big-field Doncaster handicap (1m, good to soft) last time. Drop back to this trip looks a good move and should make his presence felt.
Four-time course winner (all at 6f) who wasn't able to get to grips with Evocative Spark and Vince Le Prince over C&D a fortnight ago. Still, he was returning from a 4-month break that day, so it's reasonable to expect him to come on for that.
Ended losing run when well backed at Ripon last summer and made the frame next 2 starts. However, he was put in his place when fifth in the C&D contest won by Evocative Spark when last seen during the autumn.
Off the mark in 7f Wolverhampton handicap on final start for David Loughnane in October. Doubled his tally when opening account for this yard over 6f at the same course recently but he's 0-13 on turf.

Forecasts
Vince Le Prince (7/4), Evocative Spark (10/3), Asian Journey (4/1), Tattie Bogle (5/1), Habrdi (14/1), Simply Blue (20/1), Crocodile Power (22/1), Jenni (33/1), Roundhay Park (66/1)
VINCE LE PRINCE has succumbed to Evocative Spark on his last 2 starts (both over this C&D) but he is taken to emerge on top this time and, in the process, deservedly bring the curtain down on a long losing run. The 6-y-o meets his old rival on 4 lb better terms compared to when beaten 1½ lengths by him a couple of weeks ago, and that may be enough to tilt the scales in favour of Tim Easterby's charge this time. Asian Journey is best of the rest.
