Newcastle maiden hurdle winner last season. Off since finishing second to That One in the opening novice hurdle on this card a year ago. Switches to fences for his handicap debut. Would enter calculations if the betting speaks in his favour.
Won twice over hurdles last season, latterly a course novice at the expense of Young Getaway. Promising second in 17f Carlisle handicap hurdle on reappearance but has failed to build on that twice since. Chase debut.
Both wins here, including a chase in autumn 2024. Hard to draw many positives from his 2 outings this winter but the stable has been going a bit better since.
Ayr handicap hurdle winner but hasn't reproduced that level in 3 chase starts, beaten 9 lengths when third of 4 at Ayr (2m) on latest start in January. Still early days in this sphere but others arrive with more pressing claims.
Enthusiastic sort who tasted success twice at up to 2½m this time last year. Better for reappearance when second at Ayr in February but has failed to see his race out twice since. A first-time tongue tie is now added to the cheekpieces he wore last time.
Registered a third chase success at Sedgefield (21f) in February but found out in a stronger race at Carlisle since.
Fair hurdle winner who made it second time lucky over fences in 2m Newcastle handicap in November. Respectable third of 12 in a warm race at Carlisle (2m, good) 22 days ago. One to consider.
Successful twice over 2½m here last summer. Creditable third at Carlisle and Haydock on his last 2 outings and has to enter the reckoning back at track which suits.
Improved when recording hat-trick of 3m handicap chase wins here last spring. Should be sharper for a recent comeback outing over hurdles but this trip might be a little on the sharp side for him.
Won twice over hurdles for Gordon Elliott in 2022 but has shown little for current connections, finishing a remote fourth at Sedgefield on recent return from another year on the sidelines.
Little to shout about in bumpers/over hurdles. Sedgefield chase debut third 12 days ago was a bit better but he'll need to step up on that form to get heavily involved here from 6 lb out of the handicap.

Young Getaway (3/1), Royal Deeside (10/3), Powerofjet (5/1), Flash Du Pistolet (7/1), That One (7/1), Forsa Bay (10/1), Choose A Copper (10/1), Too Cool Forshrule (11/1), Heads Or Harps (11/1), Rock On Jet (12/1), Kicksaftersix (20/1), Elusive Warrior (25/1), Nonbinding (80/1)
POWEROFJET was third in a Go North series final at Carlisle last time and might prove the answer back in slightly calmer waters. Heads Or Harps is preferred to Royal Deeside for the forecast spot. Nicky Richards chase debutant Young Getaway would also merit plenty of respect if the betting vibes are strong back from a year off.
