Much improved when back-to-back winner in handicaps last summer. Excuses next 2 starts (too free upped markedly in trip at Southwell final run), so worth another chance on return.
Ended last season out of form but starts the new campaign off a winning mark as a result. Goes without usual headgear but ran well without it on comeback run last year.
Consistent in 2025 and made a respectable return at Newcastle 3 weeks ago, not seen to best effect.
Continues to fall in the weights without showing any sign of taking advantage, his slow starts/free-going ways not helping.
Made a winning start on all-weather debut at Southwell (1m). Exploits mixed thereafter but recent efforts suggest he's threatening to come good soon.
Won 3 times for current yard last year. However, ended season out of form and always behind at Wolverhampton after 9 months off.
Unreliable individual who generally struggled for this yard last season.
Confirmed the promise of his recent placed efforts when finally off the mark at Newcastle 2 weeks ago, despite not racing efficiently. Up only 3 lb but yet to make much impact on turf.
Narrow winner over 7f here last summer and has been holding form well on AW on recent starts, including when second at Newcastle on return 2 weeks ago. Player with headgear back on.
Veteran scored twice in a patchy 2025 campaign, the latter coming at Redcar in October. Likely to have needed comeback run at Wolverhampton 3 weeks ago but offered little all the same.
Just modest form in 3 novices and failed to improve for the switch to handicaps at Southwell 2 weeks ago. Makes turf debut. Hood/tongue strap on 1st time.
Largely consistent on the back of breakthrough success at Ripon (1m) in June. Ended last season with a whimper but no surprise if he bounced back on return.
C&D winner. Veteran who showed signs of decline last season, though did manage to win at Beverley off 3 lb higher in May. Likely to need his after 6 months off.

Forecasts
Harswell Ruby (5/2), Eve's Boy (4/1), Travis (11/2), Jamaican Storm (15/2), Volto Di Medusa (15/2), Pol Roger (17/2), Amidst The Chaos (12/1), Mariner (18/1), Finally Escaped (22/1), Perfidia (25/1), Whiskey Pete (28/1), Copper And Five (33/1), Jewel Maker (66/1)
It could be worth chancing POL ROGER, who starts the new season on a winning mark back down in class. Volto di Medusa is threatening to come good soon so must be feared back on turf, while Amidst The Chaos has had excuses since winning his first 2 starts in handicaps.
- Pol Roger17/2
- Volto Di Medusa15/2
- Amidst The Chaos12/1
