Only a long losing run and both recent efforts in cheekpieces hardly suggest that will be changing anytime soon. Did attract good support last time and it will be interesting to see if his supporters return.
4-time winner on all-weather, including over C&D who ended last year in good heart, placed at Kempton in November/December. Below form on last couple of outings though, so has a bit to prove now.
Scored at Southwell on stable debut in November and has continued in decent nick, fourth of 6 at Wolverhampton after a breathing operation recently. This tougher but his style may prove better suited by this larger field.
Front runner who won at Wolverhampton/over C&D this winter. Excuses last 3 starts, shaping as if back in form when fifth of 9 at Wolverhampton last month, again unable to get to the lead. Others more appealing on this occasion.
Took advantage of a much-reduced mark when ending long losing run at Newcastle in January and quickly back to winning ways at Wolverhampton the following month. Just respectable efforts the last twice and a visor is reapplied.
At least as good as ever when winning over 5f at Wolverhampton last month. Unsuited by the step back up in trip when well beaten back there a fortnight ago but faces a stiff task in this sort of company.
Landed a hat-trick to end 2025 but hasn't been in quite the same form in 3 starts this year, only fourth of 6 at Chelmsford in February. Has seemingly been freshened up for this.
Had been shaping up well towards the back end of last year, making late inroads having been trapped wide when seventh of 12 at Chelmsford in December. Has since switched yards and he's capable should things drop right for his late-coming style.
Got his act together towards the end of last year and back on the up to make a winning return from 3 months off in 11-runner handicap at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, leading close home with 3 last-time-out winners in behind. 4 lb higher mark doesn't seem insurmountable.
Again wasn't the best away but returned to form back at a venue where he has a good record when second of 5 in a handicap here (5f) last month. Each-way claims back up in distance.
Has a good record at this track but has struggled for consistency, following a below-par effort with an even worse one back over a longer trip at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago. Has dipped below last winning mark and cheekpieces go back on.
Scored twice on all-weather last summer and has been largely consistent since. Turned in a rare below-par effort back down at 5f at Newcastle on New Year's Day and has been off since. Back up to 6f in a reapplied visor.

Uncle Don (9/4), Dark Ace (7/2), Carbine Harvester (6/1), Silky Wilkie (7/1), Mesaafi (15/2), Apache Outlaw (14/1), Betsen (18/1), Justcallmepete (20/1), The Thames Boatman (20/1), Intervention (22/1), Accrual (25/1), Moulin Booj (33/1)
An open-looking sprint which can go the way of DARK ACE, who had a trio of recent winners behind him when scoring back from a break at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago and Ado McGuinness' 4-y-o can defy a 4 lb higher mark. Stable-switcher Uncle Don needs things to drop right given his late-coming style but he can give the selection most to think about, with Silky Wilkie and Justcallmepete another couple who may well have a say, too.
