Only 1 lb higher than when successful over C&D in December and she was unlucky not to finish closer when sixth of 12 at Newcastle last time, finishing with running left having been denied a clear run. Remains one to be interested in.

Went the wrong way from his debut last summer and hasn't been done any favours by the handicapper ahead of this return from 6 months off.

Much improved on reappearance/handicap debut when third of 12 at Newcastle, despite never really settling, and high hopes he can build on that.

Placed in higher grade for Ms Claire O'Connell and was well backed returning from 4 months off when sixth of 10 on stable debut at Wolverhampton, racing freely. Could be capable of better with a run under her belt.

Proved a different proposition under positive ride in first-time cheekpieces when winning with something in hand at Newcastle 7 days ago. Should be able to get a prominent pitch despite a wide draw, and he looks capable of defying a 6-lb penalty.

Best effort when fourth of 6 on qualifying run at Chelmsford (200/1), though that was still only poor form, and he'll need to improve to be more competitive on handicap debut.

Maiden who was third in this grade here (6f) on New Year's Day but didn't have an ideal track position at Newcastle latest, finishing seventh of 9 on first start for 9 weeks.

Steps up markedly in trip having run as well as could be expected when fifth of 7 in 5f maiden (125/1) at this course (5f). Her handicap form prior to that was hardly inspiring, though.

Maiden who has been running creditably in all-weather handicaps over longer trips (fourth of 7 at Lingfield last time) and with just an even pace forecast, he can remain competitive under a more positive ride back down in trip.

FICKLE MCSELFISH still looks well treated under a penalty and can follow up his Newcastle success. Popty Ping stands out as the main danger following a luckless run last time. Maximum Velocity, who finished third in the same race, is another to consider.
