Capitalised on the drop in grade when coming from off the pace to notch his fourth C&D success in November, well on top finish. Perhaps needed the run following a break back here next month and. now 3 lb lower, he has to enter calculations.

Sole success from 21 career starts came in a 2-y-o maiden for Brian Meehan but, to his credit, he has made the frame on each of his 4 starts for present connections. Looks capable of winning off this sort of mark.

Did the job well when resuming winning ways in 7f handicap here in January and has placed twice since, including over 5f at this course last week. Moving back up in trip looks a good move and he could have a part to play.

Hit the target with first-time cheekpieces enlisted over 7f here in January but more miss than hit since and remains 4 lb above that winning mark.

Placed 4 times on the bounce at up to 1m here in January/February and continued the good work when a close second on debut for this yard a fortnight ago. 2 lb nudge fair enough and should be on the premises once more.

Regained the winning thread when recording third C&D success in January, benefiting from a well-judged ride from the front. However, he's not the most consistent overall and some of the others are more appealing on this occasion.

Signed off truncated 2025 campaign by landing a 7f Limerick maiden in first-time blinkers on what turned out to be his final run for Aidan O'Brien. Fair efforts in handicaps with cheekpieces replacing blinkers the last twice but will need to better those efforts if he's to have a say in this.

Added to haul of course victories when narrowly landing a 5f handicap last month. Disadvantaged by making his effort furthest from the stand side in a C&D claimer next time (final run for Denis Hogan) but others make more appeal all the same.

Made it third time lucky when getting on top in the shadow of the post in a C&D maiden 3 weeks ago. That probably wasn't the strongest of races, though, and another jolt of improvement will be needed if he's to follow up on this handicap debut.

Took advantage of reduced mark when recording a tenth course success in January. Held in handicaps won by Sporting Hero and I'm Spartacus respectively since but now meets those rivals on better terms and he's capable of a bold show.

Forecasts

Mehman (9/4), Inishfallen (7/2), I'm Spartacus (4/1), Collective Power (9/2), Clonmacash (9/1), Inishmot Prince (10/1), Sporting Hero (12/1), Dontspoilasale (12/1), Venetian (14/1), Oxford Circus (16/1), Alfred Tennyson (20/1), Beauty Queen (25/1)

Verdict

INISHMOT PRINCE was beaten just over 2 lengths when fifth in the 11-runner C&D handicap won by I'm Spartacus a fortnight ago and, now 7 lb better off with that rival, he could be the answer this time. That said, I'm Spartacus looked on good terms with himself in the race in question and he will have a serious chance if again on-song. Collective Power and Inishfallen are others to consider.
