Not in same form since landing (much improved) first chase success in reapplied blinkers at Musselburgh in December, though he was ridden too aggressively over hurdles at this course last time and could be worth another chance on just his fifth start over fences.
Veteran whose 5 career wins have come at this track, though needs to shrug off a couple of poor efforts, including here. Headgear reapplied.
Three-time chase winner for Rebecca Menzies in 2024 (including at this track) who made creditable start for new yard (twice chasing home El Muchacho) prior to a disappointing run over hurdles last time.
Made frame both starts in Irish points and finished much closer than previously when third on chase debut at Musselburgh last month, doing well to press for second close home following a blunder 4 out. Player if improving as expected.
Twice a winner this season, including when capitalising on tumbling mark over C&D in November (follow-up bid underlining he's not one for maximum faith). Shaped as if still in form over 2m at Catterick latest and should be competitive if on a going day.
Placed first 3 starts over hurdles in 2022/23 for Rebecca Menzies but very lightly raced/little impact since, including on chase debut last month.
Disappointing so far under Rules but hails from good family (out of half-sister to dam of Douvan and Jonbon), so worth a second look in the betting on debut for new connections.
Veteran who capitalised on a reduced mark with a game display at Catterick in December but has gone off the boil since.
Continues to fall in weights but no promise in either start this season.
Won twice at Hexham during a productive summer but seems to have lost his way.
Yet to complete over fences and remains opposable.

Forecasts
Valence D'Aumont (7/2), Siege Of Acres (7/2), Tom Creen (4/1), Benefit Ben (4/1), Park Rules (9/1), Song Of Earth (10/1), El Muchacho (11/1), Imperial Rule (16/1), Paramaribo (40/1), Ballydangan (40/1), Quickasican (50/1)
Dropping back into what's effectively a 0-100, BENEFIT BEN looks worth another chance. Siege of Acres is feared most following a promising chase debut.
