William Henry Robinson Novices' Handicap Hurdle

Easy winner only start on Flat in France (at around 2m). Has proved inconsistent over hurdles but produced one of his better efforts when clear second (behind subsequent winner) at Fakenham latest.

Went close in a weak C&D handicap in January but cheekpieces go on having been below form under similar conditions last time.

Modest 3-time winner on Flat for Richard Hannon (stays 1½m) and though well held at long odds in trio of hurdle runs, there's hope he can make more impact now handicapping.

Maiden finished third over C&D as a novice and posted his best effort in handicaps when third on latest start at Cartmel in July. Has a drop back in trip/8-month absence to overcome, though.

Third both starts in point bumpers and while there haven't been many positives to take from hurdling efforts thus far (has bled), first-time cheekpieces/switch to handicaps can only help.

Modest stayer on Flat and despite not offering much in this sphere to date, he still warrants a market check on handicap bow.

No impact in trio of hurdle starts, though his dam was fairly useful and he starts life in handicaps from a very lowly base.

Likely to have hit the frame but for unseating on second handicap start in this sphere last April. Confirmed himself in good heart with narrow second on all-weather last month and ought to be competitive back over hurdles.

Handicap debutant had fair form on the Flat in France but it's hard to be confident based on what he's shown over hurdles to date, looking a fairly hard ride over C&D last time.
