Without a win last year but fared better than of late from his easing mark when second of 10 at Wolverhampton (7f) 9 days ago. Merits consideration with the drop back in trip having the potential to suit this free-going type.
It's now seventeen runs since his last success and has struggled for form since turn of the year, very slowly away when eighth of 9 at Wolverhampton (7f) 9 days ago.
Recorded back-to-back thirds at Wolverhampton in October but hasn't gone on since then, slowly away when sixth of 8 at the same course 16 days ago.
Off the mark over C&D in December and followed up at Southwell to start the year. Has continued in fine heart with placed efforts at this C&D the last twice, poorly drawn when third of 9 on latest outing. Major player.
Without a win in handicaps but best effort for current yard when 2½ lengths fourth of 10 at Lingfield in December. Below that level in 2 starts this year though, beaten 6½ lengths when fourth in 9-runner race over C&D 28 days ago.
Dual C&D winner who returned to form when runner-up at Chelmsford last month. Raced too freely when mid-field at the same course 11 days ago but he's worth another chance back into 0-55 company at this venue.
Remains a maiden but runner-up 3 times in handicaps last year, including on first 2 starts for current yard. Not seen to best effect final 2 outings, sixth of 11 at Lingfield (1m) in November. 4-month absence to overcome.
Both wins in 2025 came over C&D and shaped as if in good form first 2 starts this year. Below-par effort when sixth of 8 at Chelmsford (5f) last time, yet he could fare better back up in trip at this venue.
Often races freely and, with blinkers applied, has done too much in front the last twice, seventh of 9 at Wolverhampton (5f, 3/1) 15 days ago. Headgear now discarded, but has wide draw to overcome making only third start at 6f.
Little impact in handicaps for current yard and fared no better dropped in grade when ninth of 11 in classified event at Lingfield (1m) in January. Now tried in cheekpieces down in trip.
Long-standing maiden but showed a bit more fitted with eyeshields last 2 starts, third of 7 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6f) in January. Still has something to find with cheekpieces now reapplied.
Still looking for a first success and failed to come on for recent run when sixth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (5f) 15 days ago.

Forecasts
Magna (5/2), Alashos (4/1), Elvetham (11/2), Man On A Mission (11/2), Sioux Warrior (15/2), Smasher (10/1), Amaysmont (12/1), Captain Kinsella (14/1), Thomas Equinas (25/1), Chiedozie (25/1), Snow Boots (50/1), Duke Orsino (66/1)
MAGNA has continued in good form since opening her account over C&D in December and, having not been seen to best effect last time, can resume winning ways. Man On A Mission is down to a handy mark and could be the biggest threat returned to the scene of his last 2 victories, with Amaysmont also well-treated on old form.
