Forecasts

Magician of Riga (13/8), Hardstyle (9/4), Charlotte Corday (9/2), Hamaleel (6/1), Fille Imbassee (12/1), Lifeguard (20/1)

Verdict

Despite barely beating a rival home in three starts as a juvenile, MAGICIAN OF RIGA is of strong interest now upped in trip for this all-weather/handicap debut off what could turn out to be a very handy opening mark. If there is confidence behind him in the betting, all the better. Hamaleel found some improvement when scoring at Kempton last time and she is feared most, while Hardstyle could also have a big part to play if able to shrug off a below-par display on his latest start.
