Always Gamble Responsibly At BetMGM Handicap (Div 1)

Gained reward for consistency when back to winning ways at Wolverhampton early this month and followed up at Southwell (6f, 9/4) 8 days ago, overcoming the run of the race. Can make a bold bid for the hat-trick.

New yard has found the key to him, recording back-to-back 6f wins at Newcastle in December and placed over 7f all 4 starts this year, only narrowly denied when third of 12 over C&D (9/4) 8 days ago. Doesn't have a promising claimer up this time but otherwise hard to see why he won't again run well.

Free-going type who showed better signs when mid-field over 1m here in January. However, wasn't in the same form when last of 8 at Newcastle (28/1) 2 weeks ago without usual hood and goes without it again here.

Won over 7f at Thirsk last July but has struggled for form since, last of 15 there on most recent outing in September. Usual headgear discarded and tongue strap applied on first run since leaving David & Nicola Barron.

Having eased in the weights, made the frame over 7f at Kempton in December and January before again asked to make the running and going too freely when fifth of 8 at Newcastle (9/1) 22 days ago. Lurks on a dangerous mark if settling better.

Standout effort on his second outing when third of 11 in a 7f Kempton novice last March. Shaped as if amiss on first start since being gelded when last of 5 at Yarmouth (11/1) in June. Absent 8 months since.

Sole win came at Leicester last July but hasn't offered much in 3 starts since leaving George Scott in December, again slowly away when last of 10 at Wolverhampton (40/1) 11 days ago.

Made it 2 wins from first 4 starts this year when scoring over C&D on penultimate outing. Run best excused when tenth of 12 here (22/1) 8 days ago, missing the break, and no surprise to see him bounce back.

Without a win since debut but did at least settle better than usual when 2 lengths fifth of 11 in 6f handicap here (12/1) 29 days ago. On a handy mark but step back up in trip not sure to suit the way he's been shaping.

Won twice at Wolverhampton last year, with latest success over 7f in September. Possibly still needed the run after an absence when seventh of 10 at the same course (8.6f, 22/1) 11 days ago but likely to be more interesting in lower-grade handicaps.
