More promising signs when runner-up at Lingfield (7f) at the start of this month before going one better over this C&D 5 days later. Up only 2 lb and remains with plenty of handicapping scope on previous form, so rates as a leading player again.

A most reliable sort, yet to finish out of the frame in 9 starts on AW. Scored at Southwell in October and was unlucky to bump into a couple that had dropped to handy marks when third of 9 behind Signcastle City over this C&D in handicap (5/1) 14 days ago Should remain competitive.

Runner-up on his last 3 starts in handicaps, including over this C&D in early-January and most recently when beaten only a neck in 9-runner event at Wolverhampton (9/2) later that month. Worth additional credit having been trapped wide there, and he should be in the mix again.

Steadily worked his way back to form prior to capitalising on a career-low mark in 11-runner race at Southwell (6f, 28/1) 15 days ago. Never been the most consistent, though, so not certain back that up stepping up to 7f from 4 lb higher mark.

Successful at Kempton on his stable debut in October and got back on track when fourth of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) last month. Unseated rider leaving the stalls here a fortnight ago and others are preferred on balance.

The likeable and consistent Captain Parma, placed behind the selection last time, is also shortlisted, whilst Arantes Nascimento arrives in fine form and rates as another danger.
