Useful hurdler/chaser at best. Showed a good chunk of that ability remains on return from 20 months off when fourth of 8 in 2m handicap hurdle at Haydock in December. Claims if he can build on that.

Pulled up on chase debut in January but put that behind him (without being at best) when third of 7 in 2m Taunton handicap hurdle 12 days ago. A respected Somerset raider.
Won a 17f Carlisle handicap (soft) in November on his final outing for Micky Hammond and made a sound start for his new stable when third of 11 there (17f again) in a first-time tongue tie (retained) 3 weeks ago. Considered under Hughes.
In the form of his life this winter, including a pair of C&D wins in recent weeks. A further 7 lb rise demands more of him but further progress can't be discounted in his current mood.
French recruit who made it third time lucky for Donald McCain in 2m course maiden hurdle on New Year's Day but more will be needed if he's to follow up on this handicap debut.
Ex-French mare who won a 2m course novice hurdle for Paula Smith last March but absent since pulling up at Kelso later that month. Returns from just under a year off (had wind surgery) under the care of a new trainer. Likely best watched.
Won at Sedgefield in September and ran well when second at Bangor the following month. Her run of good form came to a halt when a distant fifth at Market Rasen in November and she's been freshened up since.
Disappointing 2024/25 campaign for Olly Murphy but has shown he's back in better form for his new yard when twice third to Bathgate over C&D in recent weeks, although his jumping lacked fluency when beaten 10¼ lengths latterly.

Forecasts
Medieval Gold (9/4), Into The Park (5/2), Bathgate (16/5), Gardener (6/1), Geromino (9/1), Inedit D'amour (18/1), Spot On Soph (22/1), Assorda (125/1)
MEDIEVAL GOLD is taken to build on his sound first run for the Patrick Neville yard and deny Bathgate a C&D hat-trick. Into The Park looks best of the remainder.
