Tipping Tom On SBK Bet Feed Handicap

Winless since summer 2023, and though he wasn't beaten that far when sixth of 7 in handicap over 14f at Southwell (12/1) 21 days ago, there was a muddling nature to that race and he could have flattered.

Hasn't scored since winning over 2m here last March but has a consistent record on all-weather, typically running well when second of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (7/2) 41 days ago. Leading claims from unchanged mark with first-time cheekpieces applied and Murphy booked.

Has better record on AW than turf and was placed here in December. No obvious excuses when fourth of 6 at Wolverhampton (25/1) 17 days ago, however, and not certain to relish the longer trip.

Won at Kempton over 16f on return to Flat 30 days ago. Beat only one at Lingfield last time, but had excuses.

Close second in seller at Wolverhampton over 9f in October. Ran badly last time, and cheekpieces and longer trip need to have major effect.

Won handicap hurdle at Sedgefield in October for Mickey Bowen, but arrives here on the back of 2 poor efforts over jumps and now with a different stable again.

Made it 4 wins on the spin over C&D last summer. Placed 3 times over hurdles since but looks in the handicapper's grip.

Arrives here on the back on 3 in-frame efforts, shaping particularly well when third at Chelmsford last month and backing that up with a solid fourth over 14f here 3 weeks ago. Respected.

Won maiden at Clairefontaine in August for David Menuisier but offered little in 2 Flat starts for current yard and was tailed off tried over hurdles last time.

Winless in 2025. Shaped with some encouragement when fifth of 11 at Newcastle on debut for yard in December, but failed to beat a rival only outing since.

Runner-up twice in the autumn (including at C&D) but last 2 Flat starts were underwhelming and offered little reverted to hurdling last time.
