SILVER STATE was much improved equipped with a first-time visor when scoring on handicap debut at Wolverhampton 11 days ago and may well have more to offer despite a 7 lb rise. Popty Ping has been below her best in recent outings but her record at Gosforth Park is solid and she's not dismissed. Archangel Josepi ran his best race when second at this C&D in December and may bounce back eased in class.
