Returned from summer break in improved form, winning a handicap at Kempton last November before stepping up in grade and second of 8 in listed company at Kempton (6/5) 68 days ago, travelled fluently and arguably unlucky not to follow up, pulling clear of remainder. High on the shortlist.

Yet to score in 9 starts since winning on AW in March 2024 and was fourth of 8 in conditions race a year ago, staying on for one of his better turf efforts. Returns to AW which has brought out his best form but has plenty to prove after such an absence.

Defending champion who returned from a break in December and has run consistently well in listed AW company since. Second of 5 at Lingfield Park (13/8 fav) 38 days ago, wasn't quite at his best and couldn't find a way past a determined 7-y-o. Should be competitive.

CHANCELLOR has returned from his summer break in improved form and was arguably unlucky not to follow up when second in listed company at Kempton 68 days ago. He's fancied to go one better here. Defending champion Tyrrhenian Sea wasn't quite at his best when second at Lingfield last time but should be competitive, whilst Witch Hunter ran his best race for quite some time when scoring at Newcastle 3 weeks ago.
