Bumper/maiden hurdle winner who isn't the easiest to catch right, went close at Chepstow on final start last season but ran no sort of race on return at Plumpton. Remains to be seen if first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect down in grade following a break.

Strong-travelling sort but not the most fluent jumper. Ran up to his best when placed 3 times during the summer but wasn't on a going day on return (having gone well fresh previously) at Newbury last month. Remains to be seen if he can put it all together here.

Has shown ability but clearly hasn't been easy to train, all the better for belated return when second in maiden at Plumpton (20.5f) 63 days ago. Remains unexposed heading into handicaps for good yard.

Purchased for £120,000 after making a winning point debut in December 2024 and shaped well when runner-up in Exeter bumper on Rules debut last February. Hasn't shown a great deal over hurdles this season but may fare better now handicapping.

Left previous form well behind when readily winning 7-runner handicap hurdle at Plumpton (20.5f, good to soft) and followed up with plenty in hand in weak 4-runner handicap at Fontwell (17.7f) last month. Yard excels with this type and he should go close back up in trip for hat-trick bid.

Hit frame all three starts in maidens and hasn't been disgraced in handicaps having been given a stiff opening mark, still in form but too keen when fourth behind next-time-out winner over 3m at Haydock (24.3f, good) 34 days ago. Can be competitive if settling better back down in trip.

Useful on Flat for Aidan O'Brien (stays 1¾m) and made a winning hurdle/stable debut at Sandown in February 2024. More miss than hit since, looked rusty after 12 months off when well held at Ascot (15.7f, good to soft, 66/1) on his recent return. Worth a market check tackling longer trip.

Has posted two creditable efforts since returning from an 18-month absence, shaping better than the beaten distance when sixth of 17 in handicap hurdle (25/1) at Newbury (24.3f, good to soft) 19 days ago. On a fair mark but seemingly finds it tough to get his head in front.

Best effort yet on second hurdles start when runner-up in maiden at Lingfield in February (finishing ahead of a couple of subsequent improvers). Has run creditably without improving for switch to handicaps but still early days and steps up in distance here.

Placed in maiden hurdle (19.2f) in spring of 2024 and has proved he retains ability following a long absence, building on handicap debut third when chasing home an improver at Taunton (23.9f) last time, for all he had run of race. Should give a good account back down in distance.

First form over hurdles when fourth of 9 in novice at Southwell (had run of race) but midfield in 11-runner race on handicap bow at Windsor (2m). Opening mark looks tough but is bred to be suited by return to this sort of trip.

Forecasts

Grand Conqueror (6/4), Washington Singer (9/2), Snapdance (13/2), Sheezer Diva (15/2), Guchen (9/1), Walk Tall (10/1), Island Run (10/1), The Two Harrys (12/1), Geezer Rockstar (16/1), Spitalfield (28/1), This Sway (33/1), Peking Opera (40/1)

Verdict

Plenty in with a chance but well-related SHEEZER DIVA should surely have more to offer now sent handicapping by Dan Skelton, with confidence even higher if the market speaks in her favour. Improving Grand Conqueror looks set to go well in his hat-trick bid, while Snapdance is going the right way in handicaps and merits consideration, along with handicap debutant The Two Harrys.
