Fair maiden on Flat (stays 16.5f) for Charlie Fellowes but run to only a modest level in pair of hurdles upon joining new yard, holding every chance when fourth in 10-runner juvenile at Musselburgh (15.5f) 4 weeks ago. Handicaps could well be more his bag in this sphere.
Showed ability only start in bumpers and did the same before finding himself derailed by an error when fourth of 6 in juvenile hurdle at Doncaster (16.6f, good to soft) on hurdles bow in November. However, jumped none too fluently when pulled up at Wetherby 8 days ago. Passed over.
Fair Flat winner for Daniel & Claire Kubler. Showed more than on hurdles debut despite racing freely when fifth at Musselburgh on New Year's Day but needs to step forward again. Needs to settle better with a hood now reached for.
Magna Grecia gelding. Dam half-sister to bumper/fair 2m hurdle winner Book of Invasions. Displayed fair form when placed both starts in 1¼m novice events for Brian Meehan last summer. Acquired by new connections for 18,000 gns in October and interesting what the market makes of him here.
Make Believe gelding who showed fairly useful form on Flat (stays 1½m) in France. Acquired by upwardly-mobile dual purpose yard for €26,000 in November and he's well worth a second look now switched to timber.
Modest maiden at up to 11f on the Flat for this yard and well held in pair of juvenile contests over C&D/Wetherby last month. Can only be watched for now.
Useful 3-time winner on Flat (stays 1m4f) for Ralph Beckett who shaped encouragingly starting out over hurdles for new yard when third of 11 in a Newbury novice (16.3f) 16 days ago. Not unduly punished on that occasion and highly likely improvement is forthcoming. Big shout.
Progressed into a useful sort on the Flat, winning 3 times in 2025 for Sir Mark Prescott. Changed hands for 115,000 gns thereafter and didn't have things go right from an early stage when well-beaten eighth of 9 in juvenile hurdle at Kempton over Christmas. Ought to be capable of better.
Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler (15f-17f winner) Highly Prized. Fair maiden on Flat in France (stays 9.5f). Sold from Fabrice Chappet for €17,000 in July. Wears tongue strap for hurdle debut and betting can likely unearth some clues.

A useful 3-time winner at his best on the Flat, SQUARE D'ALBONI made an encouraging start in this sphere when third in a Newbury novice on debut for Dan Skelton 16 days ago. Looking sure to build on that initial effort, he makes plenty of appeal in what rares a less demanding affair. Shamsat, a fairly useful 11f winner in France is also worthy of consideration on debut for James Owen. Whatsgoingonmarvin is surely better than his Kempton debut run over Christmas would imply, also.
