Notched second success over fences when opening account for present yard over C&D in November. Subsequent effort over the same C&D was subdued but he'll have a chance if able to bounce back with headgear re-fitted.
Looked one with serious problems but proved an entirely different proposition on his second start over fences when winning at Wetherby on Boxing Day, first-time headgear/tongue strap the most likely catalyst. Big shout if able to back that up.
Successful pointer who surpassed his hurdles form when making a winning chase debut at Huntingdon (3m) in April 2024. Mostly good efforts in defeat since but returning from a long absence here (16 months). Usual headgear left off.
Got off the mark over fences at Cartmel in May and best effort since when second of 4 here 3 weeks ago. Shapes as if this longer trip will suit but possibly not straightforward.
Veteran who capitalised on a reduced mark with a game display over C&D last month, appearing to relish stepping back up in trip. Goes well here so not taken lightly.
Fakenham winner over hurdles a year ago his sole success. Encouraging third on chase debut in July and built on that at the second attempt when just edged out by Valence D'aumont over C&D over Christmas. Can go well again.
Poor maiden hurdler for Paul Nolan in Ireland and struggled in points prior to finishing well held both starts over fences last month.
Pair of chase wins at the start of 2025 and revived from out of the blue in a change to forcing tactics when successful at Southwell in November. However, isn't known for his consistency and wasn't in same form here since.
Irish point winner. Just poor form under Rules so far but at least made more of an impact at Ayr last time despite being over a stone out of the handicap.
Below last winning mark but little evidence to suggest he's about to take advantage.
Tumbled in the weights and took a step back in the right direction when second over C&D in November. However, well held both starts since and remains opposable.
Little show over hurdles/fences, looking increasingly temperamental.

Forecasts
Wolfburg (16/5), Mersey Street (18/5), Valence D'Aumont (4/1), Alltalknoaction (9/2), Defence Witness (5/1), I See The Sea (9/1), Bravethewaves (9/1), Whispering Dancer (12/1), Getaway Glory (14/1), Ballylinch (20/1), Sputnik (22/1), Derracrin (40/1), Kuriosa (80/1), Stonegate (100/1)
WOLFBURG put his troubles behind him in this headgear combination when winning in good style at Wetherby on Boxing Day and should have more to offer after just 2 starts in this sphere. Alltalknoaction is going the right way over fences and must be feared having pulled clear with the winner at Market Rasen, while there was little between Valence d'Aumont and Mersey Street when 1-2 over C&D last month.
