5/2

Blinkered for 1st time, respectable fifth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f, 11/1) 39 days ago, doing too much too soon. First run for yard after leaving Rod Millman and not without interest off a handy-looking mark.

Forecasts

Mapledurham (5/2), Instant Bond (3/1), Rooska (6/1), Rory (15/2), Cooperation (15/2), Cloch Nua (9/1), Law Degree (9/1), Elettaria (22/1), Sogannie (80/1)

Lots with chances but MAPLEDURHAM starts life with Ed Walker on a lenient mark so edges the vote from Rooska who should strip sharper for his C&D seventh after a lay-off. Instant Bond, Elettaria and Cooperation can also have a say in this open contest.
