Fairly useful gelding. 5f winner at Navan in August. Left the impression he should have finished closer when fifth of 14 in 'Birdcatcher' nursery at Naas (5.9f) but not in same form over 6f last time (looked held when hampered, not given hard time). Could be worth another chance back over 5f.

Improving sort who shaped well over 7f here prior to improving to dispatch some modest rivals in impressive fashion when winning 9-runner maiden at this C&D 9 days ago, well on top finish. May well be more to come.
Fairly useful gelding for M. D. O'Callaghan and showed plenty of speed on all-weather/stable debut when fourth in a similar event here over 6f last time. No surprise to see him go well back over the minimum trip.
Expensive 2-y-o placed in all-weather maidens for Hamad Al Jehani in U.K. but didn't progress. Remains to be seen if he can find improvement on stable debut with blinkers on first time.
Runner-up in three consecutive nurseries prior (latest second working out well) prior to finding plenty of improvement to win 8-runner nursery over C&D (11/8) 21 days ago by 3 lengths from Ninth Crusade, having run of race. Unlikely to get an uncontested lead here but still unexposed on all-weather.
5f Winner at Cork in May and back on track when creditable third of 10 in nursery at Fairyhouse (6f, good to soft) 81 days ago, faring best of those ridden prominently in strongly run race. Shouldn't lack for speed on return to 5f but needs a career-best with headgear removed on all-weather debut.
Prominent in market when well held on debut and showed that support wasn't misplaced when runner-up in a similar event over 6f here last month (finishing ahead of Fresh Fade/Amiata), led final furlong and only collared post. One to be interested in now tried over 5f.

A relatively valuable pot and plenty in with a chance. FINAL MELODY impressed over C&D 3 weeks ago and isn't fully exposed on the all-weather. He gets the vote ahead of Amiata, who may be seen to better effect over a strongly run 5f, while there could be more to come from Fox In Flight and Sovereign Cry, who both ran well here last time.
