Useful form as a 2-y-o in 2022, winning maiden at Windsor (6f) prior to finishing second in Goodwood Group 2. Proved he retains plenty of ability following 3 years off when third of 5 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f) 81 days ago and feasible to think he can build on that making tapeta debut.
Fairly useful 6f winner as a juvenile who finished a creditable fourth of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) back in January. Feasible to think he could yet do better on the back of just 4 career starts and interesting if the market speaks in his favour back from 10 months off.
It's now twelve runs since last win in 2024 but largely performing well in recent months, again finding only one too good in Coral Sprint Trophy handicap at York (6f, good) 58 days ago, staying on. Just as effective on all-weather and he's fancied to be firmly in the mix.
2-y-o form looks rock-solid, getting off the mark in an Ayr maiden (6f) prior to improving when runner-up in a valuable 14-runner juvenile final at York (7f) last autumn. Probably needed first run for 13 months when ninth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 21 days ago and this can reveal more.
Eighteen runs since last win in 2023. 11/1, tenth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 21 days ago, racing closer to pace than ideal. Certainly not one to be giving up on from a steadily easing mark.
First run since leaving Kevin Ryan when bit below form eighth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (6f, 22/1) 21 days ago, outpaced 2f out before plugging on. Not discounted from what is undoubtedly a workable mark judged on the pick of his form.
Dual C&D winner who went in again over 7f here in September. 13/2, ran well from this career-high mark third of 5 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW) 18 days ago, having run of race. Present mark demands that little bit more but respected nevertheless back here.
In-form 6-y-o who doubled his tally for the year with a dominant display over C&D in October. Good placed efforts from inflated mark have followed, doing best of those from off the pace when 1¼ lengths third of 14 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 18 days ago, running on. Shortlisted.
C&D winner. 4¾ lengths ninth of 14 in handicap (12/1) at Southwell (6.1f) 18 days ago, hanging left over 1f out and never a threat. Fallen back down to last winning mark and no surprise to see a better showing.

Forecasts
Stratusnine (18/5), Al Karrar (11/2), Dubai Bling (6/1), Papa Cocktail (6/1), Orne (6/1), Purest Time (13/2), Irish Nectar (10/1), Fiscal Policy (12/1), Queue Dos (16/1)
Successful over C&D in October, PAPA COCKTAIL has remained in very good form since, doing best of those from off the pace when a running on third at Southwell 18 days ago. He's narrowly selected to resume winning ways, with Ian Williams' Purest Time heading up the dangers following his excellent York second in a stronger contest when last seen. Al Karrar and Queue Dos complete the shortlist.
