18/1, third of 5 in handicap at this course (12.2f) 35 days ago, not looking keen. First run for yard after leaving Grant Tuer and she's likely to find a few too good. Yard also saddles Homeland.

Forecasts

The Dark Baron (1/2), Study Of Motion (11/2), Bona Verba (10/1), Homeland (12/1), Magic Runner (14/1), Spinning Dancer (16/1), Shielas Well (18/1), Ballarat Bertie (20/1), An Fear Beag (20/1), Token Love (25/1), Broadstone (28/1), Nora Barnacle (80/1), Mister Knockout (80/1)

Verdict

THE DARK BARON was drawn widest of all when making a winning AW debut over C&D last time and, handed a better berth this time, he looks capable of going in again off this 5 lb higher mark. Magic Runner will be emerging from stall 13 this time, but she returned to form when runner-up here last month and will be a threat if able to build on that. Handicap debutante Study of Motion has the look of a potential improver and makes each-way appeal, a remark that also applies to Spinning Dancer.
