Dark Angel colt who progressed at a rate of knots on AW earlier this year, bringing up the hat-trick in 3-y-o handicap on AW Finals Day in April. Good fourth in Newbury listed race next time before finding Group 1 company too strong at Ascot (6f) in June. Could resume progress back in calmer waters.

Useful 2-y-o who bagged valuable sales race at the Curragh (6f) last summer. However, well held after 7 months off when last of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) in May and interesting what the market makes of him having been off the track a further 6 months.

Dual C&D winner who proved game when adding to his tally in handicap on AW Finals Day at Newcastle (6f) in April. Well-beaten in competitive big field turf handicaps more recently but likely a return to AW can see him in a better light now operating from last winning mark.

Latest win at Ripon in September. Good second of 22 in handicap (18/1) at Doncaster (6f, heavy) 18 days ago, just failing. Finds himself operating from career-high mark back on AW but possibilities nevertheless with a repeat.

Won 3 of his last 4 starts in France (left A. & G. Botti for €97,000) but still looks to be finding his feet for new yard, tenth of 14 in handicap at York (5.4f, good to firm) in September, slowly away. Worth a market check following a gelding operation.

Hadn't been at his best since scoring Bahrain around the turn of the year but better signs when third at Thirsk (6f) on penultimate run and he again ran creditably when seventh of 13 in handicap at Doncaster (6.5f, good) 73 days ago. Rider takes off handy 5 lb ahead of switch back to AW.

7-y-o who confirmed promise of his Doncaster fourth in October when winning 14-runner C&D handicap 6 days ago, kept up to work. No surprise to see him turned out under a penalty and he certainly commands respect back up in class.

Ex-Irish gelding who ran well when runner-up at Naas in August but absent since a below-par seventh of 11 in handicap at the Curragh (5f, soft, 14/1) 60 days ago. Visor worn then is discarded now starting out for new yard and he's certainly not handicapped out of things. Betting should guide.
