Forecasts

Toastmaster (5/4), Captain Cairney (10/3), Impossible Mission (6/1), Tabasko (6/1), Mariotto (9/1), Tamzan (16/1)

Verdict

CAPTAIN CAIRNEY has shown significant improvement over longer trips, winning at Chelmsford before being narrowly beaten when favourite at the same course and distance. His strong all-weather form makes him the one to beat. Tamzan has been steadily progressing and her breeding suggests this longer distance will suit on handicap debut. Toastmaster looks ready for this step up in trip having done his best work late in recent races.
