The vote goes to STAR NOIR, for whom the slow ground may not have been ideal when failing to land the odds in a Catterick maiden last month. He showed enough in three starts prior to that to suggest that his mark is a workable one. Rum Therapy, another who may have found underfoot conditions too much last time, merits respect back at 5f and she is second choice ahead of Green Dame.
