Capitalised on a falling mark when taking 6-runner handicap chase at Kelso in September. Run best excused (all but came down fourth) back there last time and now back hurdling for the first time since early 2020.

Fairly useful on Flat and looked an even better prospect when winning on debut in this sphere at Catterick. Stepped forward from that when promising third over C&D prior to make a winning handicap debut in taking style at Newcastle (16.9f). Hood on for return and can progress further.
Fairly useful Flat winner in France. Struck at the first time of asking over hurdles in C&D juvenile last November prior to an excellent second in Chepstow Grade 2. Subsequent efforts have represented steps in the wrong direction but reappears with his stable firmly amongst the winners.
Unreliable type who showed more life than on his final 2 appearances for Donald McCain when a fast-finishing third at Market Rasen (20.6f, good) in July. However, ran poorly at Uttoxeter since.
Fairly useful at up to 1¼m on the Flat and confirmed hurdling debut promise with victory in 8-runner juvenile at Musselburgh on New Year's Day. Showed better form in defeat next 2 outings and wasn't disgraced when fourth at Perth on return in September considering he returned lame.
Has thrived for current yard, completing a hat-trick in 2m handicap on heavy (has also won on less-testing ground) at Leicester in December, beating a subsequent winner. Showed even better form when runner-up at Perth (20.2f) 5 months later and likely to go well again back from another absence.
Useful on Flat for Owen Burrows. Chased home a subsequent improver on hurdling debut before scoring cosily over C&D. Blotted his copybook (refused) at Musselburgh next time but showed no signs of temperament switched to a handicap when runner-up at Ayr (2m) 2 weeks ago. Much respected up 2 lb.
Arrives in top form, recording a third success of the season in 7-runner handicap over C&D (good, 2/1) 14 days ago, driven out. Should continue to give a good account.

Forecasts
Marche D'aligre (5/2), Hara Kiri (11/4), Saligo Bay (10/3), Hosaamm (6/1), Johnny Ringo (12/1), Malystic (12/1), Bust A Move (12/1), Ballygeary (33/1)
HOSAAMM has refused to race in his short career over hurdles, but he showed no sign of temperament switched to a handicap when runner-up at Ayr a fortnight ago and, with his best days surely still ahead of him in this sphere, he's fancied to go one better from a 2 lb higher mark. Saligo Bay arrives in top form and can give another good account, while it wouldn't be a surprise to see Marche d'Aligre bounce back on his reappearance for a red-hot stable.
