Plenty of quality in her pedigree and improved from her debut to win a 6-runner novice at Yarmouth (6f, soft) 52 days ago by ½ length from Zighy. Carries a penalty but there may well be further improvement to come.

165,000 gns yearling. Showed speed but was held back by inexperience off the bridle when 10/3, fifth of 8 in novice at York (6f, good) on debut 29 days ago. Sure to improve.

Ridden by a very inexperienced jockey and was sent off at huge odds (250/1) when fourth of 10 in novice at Southwell (6.1f) on debut 16 days ago, faring best of those held up. That was an encouraging start and she should build on that under a more experienced rider.

70,000 gns yearling, St Mark's Basilica filly. Half-sister to 6f/7f winner Arabian Leopard. Dam, 2-y-o 5f winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Fox Trotter. Makes some pedigree appeal and she's one to note in the betting on debut.

€21,000 foal, Starman filly. Half-sister to winner up to 6f Emporess. Newcomer from yard whose runners typically improve for the first run but worth a market check nevertheless.

Iffraaj filly including useful 6f (including at 2 yrs) winner Fast Track Harry (by Harry Angel) and 5f/6f winner Olympic Eagle. Dam, 5f winner (including at 2 yrs), half-sister to useful 6f winner City Girl. Wears hood for debut and is bred to be a speedy juvenile. Interesting if supported.

Expensive yearling finished a ½ length behind Silvery (7 lb better off with that rival here) prior to running creditably when second of 7 in novice at Lingfield (6f, AW) 25 days ago. Should give another good account.

Forecasts

Silvery (9/4), La Belle Forest (3/1), Zighy (10/3), Queen Sana (13/2), Havana Flower (7/1), Sound And Vision (10/1), Victress (10/1), Rajiba (12/1), Chinchin (150/1)

Verdict

A wide-open novice. It could pay to take a chance on LA BELLE FOREST who showed ability on debut before her inexperience told. She's open to plenty of improvement and narrowly gets the vote ahead of Zighy and Silvery, who were closely matched at Yarmouth in September, while Havana Flower is another likely improver.
