Lightly-raced 6-y-o who has recorded both his wins here (20f), including on penultimate start in March. Should stay this far so must be respected on return.
Ended last season on a disappointing note and dropped away tamely at Perth on return (had made a successful reappearance here last term). Others make more appeal.
Back to form starting out for this yard when third at Wetherby in March. Could have more to offer for new stable so worth considering.
All 3 wins have come over this C&D, including when looking better than ever when beating a few of these back from 4 months off 5 weeks ago. Should go well again up 4 lb.
Narrow runner-up in a pair of handicap hurdles at Kelso in May, likely would have won but for a clumsy round of jumping on the most recent of those starts. Shaped well on heavy ground back from a break over C&D 5 weeks ago and should be in the mix again.
Proved better than ever when doubling her tally at Ayr in February. Mix record since but shaped as if needed the run at Perth on return.
Improver last spring, winning 3m handicap hurdles at Newcastle and Perth. However, shaped as if needing the run after 10 months off at Ayr in February and may need this again back from another absence.
Improved for the switch to handicap company when scoring over C&D in May and followed up at Perth before a busy spell caught up with him. However, 2 comeback runs last month were poor and headgear now re-applied.
Scored at Sedgefield (27f) in February 2024 but not easy to catch right since, pulled up back from a break in this race 12 months ago. Off since.
Scored at Kempton a year ago but little to shout about since, though did at least show a bit more spark on second start for this yard at Wetherby last month.

Forest Blaze (5/2), Wee Alki (3/1), Zwicky (9/2), Robert d'Ores (13/2), Maura Jeanne (15/2), Ballin Bay (17/2), Bollin Matilda (10/1), Shoeshine Boy (14/1), Rebel Intentions (18/1), Man Of Action (18/1), Dillarchie (40/1)
BALLIN BAY shaped well in the circumstances when third at Wetherby on yard debut in March and could have more to offer for current connections. Forest Blaze is worth another go at this sort of trip, while Robert d'Ores looked better than ever when recording a third C&D win last month.
