Confirmed promise of reappearance when adding a third victory to his CV at the Guineas meeting in May. Easy enough to strike a line through his effort on July course there when last seen 118 days ago (caught on the wing from the lowest stall) and remains one to be positive about. Cheekpieces on.

Kick-started 2025 with wins at Southwell and Leicester in April and having not had the rub of the green in some top-end 6f events, he shaped as if right back at the top of his game when seventh of 13 in handicap at Newmarket (7f) 39 days ago, left with too much to do. Of interest back on AW.
Highly progressive on AW during 2024, scoring 4 times at up to 7f (3 coming at this track). Lightly campaigned so far this year and he likely needed first start for 5 months (raced freely) when eleventh of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 38 days ago. Better showing anticipated.
Thriving sprinter who made it 2 wins from his last 3 starts in 8-runner handicap at this C&D 7 days ago, running on to get the job done in quite tidy fashion. This rates tougher up in class under a penalty but he can't be ruled out in this groove.
All 4 wins gained on the AW, latest of them over C&D in April. Lightly raced and not proved anything like so effective on turf since, last of 10 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 46 days ago. Return to synthetics rates a definite plus now.
Not tasted success this campaign but proved himself still capable of useful form when third in Great St Wilfrid at Ripon (6f) in August. Latest seventh of 8 in handicap at Goodwood (6f, good to firm, 17/2) 24 days ago was disappointing though and others boast more pressing claims.

Forecasts
Completely Random (11/8), Coul Angel (9/4), Heathcliff (5/1), Carbine Harvester (11/2), Invictus Gold (14/1), First Folio (40/1)
COMPLETELY RANDOM didn't always have the rub of the green in some top-end 6f contests this summer but looked right back at the top of his game despite finishing seventh in a Newmarket handicap over 7f 6 weeks ago. Left with too much to do on that occasion, he's undoubtedly on a handy mark and can confirm the promise of that effort here. Mick Appleby's C&D winner Coul Angel is thriving and feared, with Invictus Gold another fancied to be in the shake up.
