15/8

Night Of Thunder filly who looked a useful prospect when scoring on debut ay Haydock (6f) in September. Not seen to best effect when midfield in Group 3 company next time and this more suitable than the listed company she tackled at York latest. Likely she remains capable of better.

Landed a Haydock novice (6f) in July and similar form when placed next 2 starts, catching the eye with her finishing effort when third on nursery debut at Doncaster (6.5f). Possibly not herself when last of 7 in nursery at Newmarket (7f) 38 days ago and bounce back likely with blinkers enlisted.

Stepped up on initial efforts when going close in a Musselburgh novice (5f, good to firm) in August. Performed with credit on 2 of his 3 subsequent runs, fourth of 7 in nursery at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 24 days ago. Ease in class can help now.

Forecasts

Lightning Polka (15/8), Ten Carat Harry (9/4), Ecclefechan (9/4), Green Dame (3/1), Noble Vow (7/2), Rogue Temptation (13/2)

NOBLE VOW not for the first time left the impression the race never got to the bottom of him when a strong-finishing second in a Wolverhampton maiden 15 days ago and appealing as the type to do better again now handicapping, he could well be the answer. Green Dame and Newcastle scorer Ten Carat Harry are others to consider in an interesting nursery.
