Scored readily over fences at Hereford and Exeter in the spring. Pulled up next 2 starts but running well (closing on leaders) when falling heavily 4 out on return from a break at Ludlow (23.8f) 24 days ago. Possibilities if over those exertions.

Not long with Olly Murphy and he built on initial promise (following wind op) when successful over hurdles at Perth (26.6f) in April. Runner-up at Uttoxeter a month later and likely he'll be sharper for his laboured second after 5 months off back there 27 days ago. Not ruled out back over fences.
Dual chase scorer last winter who performed well during the spring, runner-up in handicaps at Carlisle/Aintree at around 25f. Showed enough to suggest he's returned in good heart before unseating 3 out at Southwell (24.3f) 4 weeks ago and no surprise to see him thereabouts.
Resurgent initially upon joining this yard, bringing up chase/hurdles hat-trick at Haydock (24.3f) last December. However, was out of sorts when last seen during the spring, going in snatches and well held at Carlisle in March. Subsequent 7-month break needs to have freshened him up. Visor back on.
Much improved sent chasing during second half of last season, readily doubling his tally at Uttoxeter (3m) in March prior to finishing runner-up behind a lenient treated rival at Bangor (3m) the following month. Feasible to think there could be more to come this term and shortlisted on return.
Got off the mark over fences at Musselburgh in February and held his form well in defeat thereafter, briefly looking in control before collared run-in when third of 8 in handicap chase at Perth (23.8f, soft) in April. Had wind surgery ahead of return and no reason why he won't give his running.
Three-time point winner who is steadily getting the hang of things under Rules, proving his opening mark lenient when smoothly off the mark in 5-runner Sedgefield handicap (26.3f) 13 days ago. Rider's handy claim off-sets 5 lb rise and big player with further progress on the cards.
Veteran who has made a positive start to the campaign, resuming winning ways at Market Rasen in July and readily back on the scoresheet in 8-runner handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f) 3 weeks ago. 5 lb rise should see him competitive again given manner of that success.

Red Delta (85/40), Konfusion (5/2), Wa Wa (5/1), Halpha Soleil (8/1), One More Stroke (10/1), East Street (11/1), Yes Day (12/1), Finn Lough (12/1), Ribeye (16/1)
A 3-time winner in points, RED DELTA improved on his previous exploits under Rules when running out a comfortable winner on his handicap chase debut at Sedgefield 13 days ago and, whilst this is undoubtedly tougher, the manner of that victory suggests he may well be up to the task. Konfusion had a productive first season over fences, winning twice, and he's respected on return. Admirable veteran Ribeye and Wa Wa are others to consider.
