Son of Nathaniel who has shown fairly useful form when runner-up on all 3 starts, pulling 4 lengths clear of a next-time-out scorer in third when going down by a short head on AW last time. The one to beat.

Forecasts

Military Cross (1/1), Helmsley (2/1), Yaa Min (7/2), Superfortress (20/1), Treasure Islands (66/1), Isle Of Illusion (125/1), Maagirl (300/1)

Verdict

MILITARY CROSS has shown more than enough to think a race like this is within his grasp. Ralph Beckett's Helmsley shaped well on last month's handicap debut and can give the selection most to think about.

  1. Military Cross1/1
  2. Helmsley2/1
  3. Yaa Min7/2
