Quickly developed into a pretty smart stayer for Aidan O'Brien last year, including a listed win, but disappointed in a 2m Naas handicap in the autumn, after which he changed hands for 30,000 gns. The blinkers he wore for previous connections are off and he isn't an easy one to assess.

Fairly useful gelding. 3 wins from 9 runs this year. 10/11, career best when winning 7-runner handicap at this course (17.1f, soft) 32 days ago. Claims far from obvious on these terms, however.

Unreliable sort. Course winner. Seventh of 11 in handicap at Southwell (14.1f, 28/1) 27 days ago. Up in trip but isn't straightforward and he looks up against it.

Useful mare. Another excellent effort in a high-end handicap when fourth of 19 in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket (18f, good to firm, 28/1) 9 days ago. Very much the one to beat.

Divine Comedy (2/13), Arkinthestars (7/1), Chemistry (9/1), Captain Potter (10/1), Wahraan (22/1)
It's very hard to escape the claims of DIVINE COMEDY, who regularly runs to a useful level and her stamina and well-being are confirmed. Chemistry is the obvious threat if he returns near his peak Irish form on return to action for his new stable.
