Resumed winning ways at Meydan (1m) earlier this year and whilst largely looking summed up by his mark since, he did run well having received some mercy from the assessor when fifth of 17 in handicap at York (7.9f) 7 days ago. Each-way claims.

Been a real money spinner on the continent for connections, adding another win to his tally in Group 3 at Milan last autumn. However, been out of sorts in handicaps on these shores in recent months and refitting of blinkers needs to have positive effect now.
Fairly useful 7f winner at 2yrs who showed benefit of first 2 starts back this autumn when winning 9-runner minor event at Ascot (1m, soft) 14 days ago, looking well suited by the step up in trip. Certainly arrives here fresh for the time of year and he commands a second look.
Quirky sort who needs things to fall right but he comes here on the back of a good second of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 13 days ago, that despite not getting the clearest of passage through. Nudged up 2 lb on the back of that though and consistency hasn't been his strong suit this year.
Son of Dubawi who had some good form in maidens to his name and having opened his account at Redcar (1m) in August, he took a sizeable step forward to follow up on handicap debut at Newbury (1m, soft) 4 weeks ago, finding extra when tackled. Of interest up 5 lb with prospect of more to come.
Night of Thunder colt who made a taking winning debut at Wolverhampton (7.1f) in March. Good efforts under a penalty next 2 starts, much better than he could show when third of 11 in novice at Newcastle (7.1f) in June. Remains with potential now handicapping following a break/wind surgery.
It's now eleven runs since his last win in 2024 but he run respectably in AW/turf handicaps earlier this year and he dispelled a lesser effort when running on fourth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (1m) on latest outing 16 days ago. However, suspicion he may find a couple too good again.
French import who came in for a more positive ride and wasted no time getting back to form under a positive ride when third of 12 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) 26 days ago. Rates a danger to all with a repeat from unchanged mark back on turf.
Doubled his career tally at Hamilton (9.1f) in June. More miss than hit thereafter but fallen back down to last winning mark as a result and he returned to form when second of 7 in handicap (5/1) at Hamilton (9.2f) 18 days ago. Should be competitive again.
Bagged this race from a 1 lb higher mark 12 months ago and back on scoresheet when taking 16-runner Carlisle Bell handicap back in June. Form has been a little up and down since but the handicapper has given him a chance ahead of this.
AW win last November for Charlie Appleby but he hasn't kicked on in 3 starts so far this year, a return to AW failing to spark a revival on second start for present yard when last of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (7.1f) 13 days ago, doing too much too soon. Plenty to prove. Tongue tied 1st time.

ETERNAL FORCE had some good form to his name in maidens and took a sizeable step forward when doubling his career tally on handicap debut at Newbury (1m) 27 days ago. A 5 lb rise for that success doesn't look insurmoutable and he can continue the run of fine form for the William Haggas yard. Warrior Mode showed plenty of ability in a trio of AW starts during the first half of the year and is an intriguing handicap newcomer. Angel Hunter and Sword complete the shortlist.
- Warrior Mode14/1
- Angel Hunter10/3
