Won at Bath over this trip in May and excellent second at Windsor in August. Fifth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (14/1) 19 days ago, not seen to best effect from a long way back and having to pick way through traffic. Eases in class.

Has gained both career wins over this C&D, latterly in 10-runner handicap a weeks ago, leading most of the way and doing just enough when challenged. Penalty to carry here but he's clearly in good order.
Consistent performer who has won twice at this venue since August, latterly over 5.3f 8 days ago. Same mark ere so follow-up claims appear to be bright.
Long-standing maiden who showed promise when second at Wolverhampton (5f) in January. Finished 11th of 13 in handicap at that venue in April, slowly away and never involved. Returns after a break and switches to turf for a new up-and-coming trainer. Market check advised.
Has found only one too good three times this season, producing best effort for some time when runner-up by a nose in 6-runner C&D handicap 22 days ago, leading over 1f out before being edged out on the line. Has not won for 19 races but in better form than most here.
Modest form, including third here in May, before finishing seventh of 10 in handicap here (22/1) 8 days ago, albeit he was bumped badly after 1f.
Won a classified race at Lingfield (6f) in August but little to shout about since, blowing the start at Sandown.
Runner-up twice this summer, including over C&D but finished tenth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (11/2) 33 days ago when caught wide. Without a win in 15 races and first time cheekpieces now on.
Modest form in maidens and novices, finishing fifth of 10 at Southwell (50/1) 35 days ago. Potential for better in handicaps but probably over further.
Has good course record but struggled this year, finishing ninth of 12 in handicap at Bath over 5.7f (11/1) 24 days ago.
Long-standing maiden but ran as well as he ever had when second of 10 in handicap at this C&D (20/1) 8 days ago. Needs to back that up.

State Of Madness (9/4), Starsong (9/4), Fai Fai (6/1), Roman Spring (7/1), Southbank (10/1), Lady In Havana (11/1), Voodoo Ray (18/1), Haveagobeau (18/1), Colorada Dancer (20/1), Mary Of Modena (25/1), Love You Millions (40/1), Mehmo (50/1), Firenze Rosa (125/1)
STARSONG is very consistent and knows how to win as this level, doing so twice at this venue in recent months. He's the percentage call, for all State of Madness is very interesting on return for a new stable. Fai Fai has been knocking on the door with three runner-up finishes this season and is also of interest.
