Latest win at Thirsk in August. Seventh of 10 in handicap (11/2) at Chester (10.3f, good) 21 days ago. Back down in trip and he won't be far if away if able to bounce back here.
13/2, won 7-runner handicap at this course (10f, good to firm) 18 days ago, driven out. 3 lb rise fair, but this is tougher and dropping back in trip is by no means certain to be in his favour.
Eleven runs since last win in 2022. 10/1, creditable fifth of 12 in handicap at Southwell (8.1f) 13 days ago, running on. Others make more appeal from a win perspective.
Twenty-one runs since last win in 2024. Eleventh of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (8f, 6/1) 6 days ago, hampered. One of 5 representing a yard with a good record in this race and can make his presence felt.
Latest win at Haydock in August. 10/1, creditable third of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 6 days ago, not ideally placed. Enters calculations.
Respectable third of 6 in handicap at Ayr (10f, good to soft, 13/2) 16 days ago, well positioned. Back down in tri and she's likely to find one or two good once again.
Latest win at Ayr in July. Tenth of 11 in handicap (15/2) at Ayr (7.2f, soft) 14 days ago. Needs to bounce back in a major way on the back of that poor effort.
C&D winner. 3 wins from 9 runs this year. Latest win here in August. 8/1, respectable eighth of 16 in handicap at York (7.9f, good to firm) 27 days ago. Each-way shout.
One win from 24 Flat runs, which was gained back in 2022. Respectable fifth of 13 in handicap (5/1) at Newcastle (8f) 6 days ago, but this is more demanding. Jez Bomb appears to be the yard's No 1.
Latest win at Pontefract in June. 15/2, sixth of 9 in handicap at Pontefract (8f, soft) 16 days ago and it's likely that he'll come up short once more.
Course winner. 3 wins from 12 runs this year. 5/2, creditable second of 11 in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 18 days ago, conceding first run. Solid claims.
Four-time course winner, the latest gained in July. However, he trailed in last of 14 in minor event at Doncaster (8f, good, 16/1) 20 days ago and opposable for now.
C&D winner. Latest win at Carlisle in September. Respectable fourth of 8 in handicap (10/1) at Haydock (10.2f, good) 8 days ago. Back down in trip and this veteran is not without each-way hope.

Forecasts
Debora's Dream (3/1), Double Parked (3/1), Leadenhall (5/1), Barley (11/2), Rajapour (10/1), Rhythm Master (10/1), Jez Bomb (12/1), Mr Mistoffelees (18/1), Boy Douglas (22/1), Donna Nook (28/1), Mount King (50/1), Eeetee (50/1), Poet's Dawn (50/1)
The vote goes to JEZ BOMB, who has proved admirably consistent this year and he conceded first run when finding just one too good over this C&D recently. Tim Easterby has enjoyed plenty of success in this handicap over the years and Leadenhall and Barley (in that order of preference) could be the pick of the yard's quintet. Rhythm Master is another with possibilities.
- Jez Bomb12/1
- Leadenhall5/1
- Barley11/2
