Has form at this course but has struggled in recent turf outings, made no impression when sixth of 11 in handicap at Carlisle (22/1) 18 days ago after another tardy start. Has fallen to a handy mark for all-weather return but not helping himself with slow starts.
Inconsistent since April win, shaped with promise when fourth at Pontefract but finished last of 9 in handicap at Ayr (9/1) 40 days ago. Can be competitive if bouncing back with cheekpieces refitted.

Won and placed in 7f handicaps at Catterick Bridge during summer turf campaign. Seventh of 11 in a 7f handicap at Catterick Bridge (5/2) 18 days ago when racing wide in a less-than-ideal position. Course winner ought to be competitive if seeing out this longer trip.
Showed a bit in novice company, best not judged on qualifying run when seventh of 9 in Kempton novice (33/1) 31 days ago, raced off the pace and merely passed beaten horses. Makes handicap debut stepping up to 8f and there could be more to come.
Course winner but has tumbled down the weights since last success, finishing 10th of 12 in handicap at Thirsk (16/1) on soft going 12 days ago. Step up to 8f back on AW could help under a good-value apprentice.
