Lightly-raced maiden under NH rules who matched the pick of his form in novice/maiden company when second of 12 on handicap debut at this course (20.2f, soft) in April. Has scope for further improvement but this drop back in trip isn't sure to suit.
Remains a maiden after 20 NH runs but shaped as if still in good form when fourth of 11 in handicap hurdle (11/1) at Kelso (18.1f, good) 8 days ago, possibly paying late for chasing the generous gallop. Should remain competitive.
Fair on Flat (stays 2m), successful in July but possibly amiss last time. Tailed off/let down by jumping in juvenile events when last seen over hurdles in 2023/24.
Better signs over hurdles the last twice, finishing a creditable third of 10 in handicap at Kelso (18.1f, good) 8 days ago. Shouldn't be far away again with a repeat.
Poor maiden who went with no encouragement when last of 11 in handicap hurdle (125/1) at Kelso (18.1f, good) 8 days ago, never travelling well. Hard to make a case for.
Course winner in July and back on track when fourth of 13 in handicap hurdle at this course (20.2f, good, 3/1) 17 days ago. Not taken lightly.
Has shown little in a bumper/handful of starts over hurdles. Easy enough to look elsewhere from 4 lb out of the weights.
Long-standing maiden over jumps with little recent form. Opposable from 5 lb out of the handicap.
Of little account these days and easily passed over from 8 lb out of the weights.

Forecasts
Top Flight Century (2/1), Clan Chieftain (3/1), Burning It Up (4/1), Cosmic Soul (11/2), Nathan Wells (13/2), Willy Nilly (22/1), Just Winging It (33/1), The Geordie Ginge (100/1), Solway Staree (100/1)
TOP FLIGHT CENTURY is developing a good course record and is taken to notch a second career win, possibly at the expense of Burning It Up, who is arguably the most interesting of these moving forward but isn't sure to be suited by the drop back in trip. Nathan Wells and Clan Chieftain also merit consideration.
