Twice-raced winner. Won 9-runner novice at this C&D (33/1) 29 days ago, well positioned. That form looks pretty modest and he's probably worth taking on under a penalty.

Once-raced maiden. 9/1, last of 10 in novice at Newbury (7f, good to firm) on debut 33 days ago. This well-bred colt is surely capable of better, but it could be that he's more of a long-term prospect.

Forecasts

Leone Alato (2/1), Wedonttelllies (3/1), Mr Keble (7/2), Lord Britain (5/1), Slight Of Foot (10/1), Heading (11/1), Lux Aeterna (16/1), Based (25/1), Senor Campanaro (66/1), Double Eagle (80/1), Station Bar (100/1), Wisetanck (150/1), Prancy Peer (200/1), Wardlaw (200/1)

Verdict

It was a strong Newbury novice in which WEDONTTELLLIES finished down the field on debut last month and he duly stepped up on that when third in an 11-runner contest here recently, leaving the strong impression that there is better to come. The No Nay Never colt gets the nod ahead of Godolphin's Leone Alato, who was safely held last time but remains of interest given the promise of his Newmarket debut third. Heading could be the pick of the newcomers ahead of Based and Lux Aeterna.
