Forecasts

Acclaimed Freedom (15/8), Mr Nippy (2/1), Athena's War (5/1), Baandee (6/1), Mick From Tipp (9/1), The Wicked Wolf (14/1), Timely Salute (33/1), Onwardupward (66/1), Bellini Spirit (100/1), Jooliah (200/1), Virginia Moon (200/1)

Those with experience don't set the bar all that high, so ATHENA'S WAR, an appealing newcomer for a race of this nature, could be up to making a winning start. Mick From Tipp and Acclaimed Freedom both showed a bit on their respective debuts and are entitled to progress.
