Thrives in the mud and capitalised on a drop in grade when winning a York handicap (10.2f, heavy) last October. That form worked out well but he found things too competitive in the November Handicap at Doncaster the following month. Has a 10-month absence to overcome and may need it softer.
Won this race in 2023. Made-all off a reduced mark to win at Haydock in June prior to finishing well held in the Old Newton Cup. Had the run of the race but posted best effort of the season when runner-up in a valuable all-weather handicap last month. Back on turf and well-drawn given his run style.
Consistent type who ended long losing run at Thirsk last month and again ran well when third of 8 in a handicap at Newmarket (8f) 29 days ago. Has proven he stays 9f and should give another good account if seeing out this longer trip.
Has largely been in good form this season, his latest win at Newcastle in May. Came from further back than the pair that beat him when third in a 7-runner handicap at Goodwood last time. Strong-travelling sort should be suited by this track and the prospect of a good pace. Looks interesting.

C&D winner ran respectably on the all-weather for new connections earlier this year but showed more of his old spark on second turf start of the season, winning an 8-runner Haydock handicap with plenty in hand, despite carrying his head a bit awkwardly. Still fairly treated on best of his form.
In-form on final couple of starts for Daniel & Claire Kubler and picked up where he left off after a 7-week break when fourth of 10 in a handicap at Chelmsford City (8f) on stable debut last month. Steps back up in trip and no surprise were James Owen to unlock some improvement.
Benefited from the step back up in trip after 6 months off when landing a C&D handicap at the May Meeting and placed twice over C&D in July, finishing a well-backed third in a 9-runner handicap most recently, having met trouble in running. Has a good record here and ought to be competitive again.
C&D winner in August (beat a next time out winner) and has continued in fine heart, creditable 2¼ lengths third of 9 to Spioradalta in handicap at Beverley (9.9f, good) 14 days ago, held every chance when carried left over 1f out. Should give another good account.
Course winner has held his form well this season, notching a third victory in his last 6 starts when a determined winner at Beverley (9.9f, good) 14 days ago (second past the post but subsequently promoted). In excellent heart and merits respect despite a rise in grade.
Course winner off 1 lb higher last year. Belatedly took advantage of a drop in the weights when scoring at Beverley (9.9f) last month, aided by the market principals underperforming. Still on a fair mark but tougher task to follow up from the widest stall here.

Box To Box (11/4), Let's Dream (5/1), Rhythm Master (11/2), Light Speed (8/1), Crack Shot (9/1), Londoner (9/1), Spioradalta (11/1), Individualism (11/1), Gaassee (12/1), Glistening Nights (16/1), Two Brothers (28/1), Dream Harder (33/1), King's Code (33/1)
Highly competitive but this could be run to suit the strong-travelling LONDONER who shaped well when third at Goodwood and looks well-placed to record a second victory of the year. Rhythm Master has been consistent this season and should be in the mix if seeing out this longer trip, while previous C&D winner Glistening Nights arrives in-form and could hit the frame again if the strong forecast pace materialises.
